      <image:title>About - What we teach</image:title>
<image:caption>Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on the release of tension and the use of the correct muscles in the correct way to allow free movement, to improve posture, balance and to create a girdle of strength around the torso. In doing so the body becomes longer, leaner and more toned. Additionally, Pilates exercises help rebalance the muscles around the joints and improve general fitness and well-being. <image:title>Team - Laura Murray</image:title>
<image:caption>Laura became interested in Pilates about 12 years ago after being recommended it by her physio after sustaining a bad injury from marathon training. Already trained and working as a fitness and dance teacher, Laura was amazed by how much Pilates, more than anything else, improved her overall strength and running form, whilst also making her feel fab and relaxed! In 2013 she did an intensive one to one teacher training with Pilates trainer Ellie Herdman at her studio inBrooklyn, NY which was a dream come true. She completed her Level 3 Matwork certification when she returned home to the UK and has since done further specialised courses with BCPA including pre and post natal which she has a particular interest in. She has also now competed her reformer training. Laura is mum to two little boys.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Team - Allyn Rowan</image:title>
<image:caption>Allyn has worked in the fitness world for 12 years. She was introduced t Pilates 8 years ago. As a keen runner Allyn wanted to do something to enhance her running and prevent injury. Allyn initially trained with Pilates Performance Ireland and began teaching at Core Health in 2015. She soon became convinced to train with BCPA to gain greater insight and depth of knowledge of the human body and modifying exercises to meet clients needs. She became qualified in 2017 and has since expanded her knowledge further completing her Pilates for Bone Health, Pilates for Golf, and most recently Reformer training. Allyn is a mum of one little girl.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Team - Pamela Neal</image:title>
<image:caption>Pamela qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2000 and as a Body Control Pilates teacher in 2002. Pamela’s field of speciality is musculoskeletal and worked to a Senior level in the NHS before setting up Core Health in 2004. Pamela experienced back pain in her early twenties and found her own practice of Pilates to be the main factor in, not only reducing her pain, but subsequently then also changing her posture, shape and flexibility. Pamela has expanded her initial training in many areas including advanced matwork, reformer, cadillac, all small equipment, ante and post natal, children’s Pilates as well as 20 years of workshops and CPD. Pamela is passionate about applying the principles of Pilates to all forms of training. Pamela is a supervising teacher for the Body Control Pilates Association, as such, helping to train student teachers to their high level of teaching standards. Pamela is a mum of three teenage children.</image:caption>
